Crazy Crafters Blog Hop-Special Guest Jennifer Michalski

Welcome to Crazy Craters Blog Hop! Our special guest for today's hop is Jennifer Michalski. She has sooooooo many fantastic projects to CASE.  It's the hardest part to chose which one to case whenever I participate in blog hops and I chose this card of Jennifer's. I used her design as a sketch.
I used Sweet Home stamp set and made a fun beach house. I've seen somebody's made a beach house with this set on Pinterest but I didn't Pin it so can't find the original project that I got inspiration from. So if that's your project, thank you for the great inspiration.
What makes this house really beachy is the floating tube on the door.

I used the circle window frame die to make a tube. Die cut with Whisper White card stock and colored with Real Red marker. Good news!! In 2016 holiday catalogue you can buy Real Red marker individually instead of buying whole marker set.
And of course I had to cut the door!!! The sentiment is from Thoughtful Banners Stamp set. It is a horizontal stamp. I masked unwanted part of the sentiment with Washi tape and inked up. Took the Washi tape off and stamped it.

Jennifer's card uses DSP and I made my original DSP with stamping.

This is my CASE-Copy And Selectively Edit card.

Thank you for hopping with us. You are at Satomi Wellard.

  5. Totally beachy. Reminds me of the beach huts in Melbourne (I'm yet to actually see them in person though). Lovely

  13. I'm sorry, I thought you actually made the house! I'm happy it's a card. I wanted to use this bundle for Halloween cards for all my grandkids (25 and counting). But, for the trick or treater's here, they'll get the house. Such a clever idea to make it a beach house instead of a haunted house. Love it!!
