It was my first Stampin' Up! event and I really really enjoyed it. I got too excited and couldn't sleep well a night before and on the day, too. So I was very tired all day on Sunday and yesterday.
It was great to meet some of the Crazy Crafters in person finally and to know that I wasn't the craziest.
Now it's been 3 days and I finally got recovered from the On Stage Local in Sydney fever and am ready to share what I experienced there.
This is one of the make and take we did.
Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder comes in 2 folders. This is one of them. And they have a coordinated stamp set, DSP, cardstock pack and washi tape !!!!!
When I looked at this card after I got cooled down, I realised this could be coordinated with another stamp set, which we all got for free at the event. The set is called Mixed Borders. Mixed Borders stamp set has 12 pieces, including 5 border stamps. One of the border stamps really looks like this flower.
And this week's Mojo Monday sketch inspired me to ink up the brand new set!!
And this is the set we all got for free!!! Mixed Borders stamp set.
The flower border stamp really looks like the embossing holder. Don't you think? At fist I thought what is the gap between the two stamps? Are we supposed to cut them out by ourselves??
Well, no. The gap is for stamping sentiment there. Don't cut them apart. How cool is that?!
I stamped the flower border in Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Mind Macaron. I used the curvy bracket looking stamp to make a circle.
I wanted to jazz up the flower border a little bit so borrowed the little flower stamp from Bloomin' Love set.
This is how I make flag. Banner Triple punch and Banner Framelits are on my wish list for a long time.
I stamped a big heart from Bloomin' Love and punched it out with Sweetheart punch.
You would love the new catalogue. If you don't have a demonstrator and would like to have a copy of new catalogue, I'm happy to send it to you. Please contact me at email@example.com
