On Stage Tokyo

I am in Japan since 15th Sep. I came back home to attend the Stampin'Up! Japan second year anniversary event, On Stage Tokyo and to see my family. I moved in Australia in December last year so it's been only 9 months since I left. I didn't plan to come back to Japan at least one year but when I heard about On Stage Tokyo, I had to come back. Well it was a good excuse to see my parents, too.

Stampin'Up! Japan launched in Oct. 2014 and I'm one of the first group of demonstrators who signed up on the day they launched. I already knew about SU before I moved back in Japan in 2012 so I had no hesitation to sign up as a demonstrator in Japan. We signed up under the Stampin'Up! Japan directly so we don't have uplines. We formed strong friendship and often got together to share the workshop ides and inspired one another. I really miss the friendship with these girls and stamping time with them. Attending On Stage in Tokyo is a great opportunity to catch up with most of them all at once.

Stampin'Up! CEO Sara Douglass was there from U.S. She was really nice and took photo with every one.
Sara gave an opening speech. She got really emotional and there were tears in her eyes.
Pam Morgan from Stampin'Up USA. It was the third time for me to see her and she was so nice that she remembered my name!
 Sara did demonstration with translator.

Make and Take.

And of course, got free stamp sets!

 Beautiful Japanese Bento-box lunch.
In the afternoon there was an award presentation. 19 demonstrators achieved the special campaign, which was held between May to August 2016 and we got qualified to attend the private dinner party with Sara Douglass on the same day.

I was one of the top 4 achievers of the campagin so I gave a short speech.
There were 110 demonstrators from all over Japan. It was a small and cozy event but dream day for me.

Demonstrators in Nagoya. We are one big sisters. Most of us signed up on the DAY 1 of Stampin'Up! Japan journey.

Private dinner with Sara, Pam and other Stampin'Up! Japan staff.
5 course dinner.

We got these at the event. The backpack is only given to the dinner achievers.

Only a few more days in Japan. I'm enjoying catching up with my demonstrator friends, my dowlines and every moment with my family.

September International Blog Hop-Highlighting Stampin'Up! Products

Welcome to our International Blog Hop! We are group of demonstrators around the world that want to show you ideas and inspiration using the latest Stampin'Up! products that are available for you to purchase.

For this Blog Hop I chose to work with Spooky Fun Bundle and Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper.

It's bit hard to see in the photo but "trick or treat" is heat embossed with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder.

I took part in Sarah Berry's Strawberry Sketches#ss009 and made this card.
I really liked it so CASEd my own card and made this.
Then I suddenly thought it would be nice if I put this card in a frame. I attached the die cut tree and fence on the frame.
Placed one of DSP from the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper inside of the from. The card is attached on the glass cover.

Thank you for visiting my blog. You are at Satomi Wellard in Australia.
