A Nice Cuppa

It has been a month or so since I started this blog with Blogger. I have another blog in Japanese with a different blog provider so using Blogger is really new to me.
I have learned so much and still I'm learning new thing everyday.

Last Friday my link to the Crazy Crafter's Team Project Highlight didn't work for the first few hours because I mucked up the link accidentally. My sweet upline told me that straight away and other ladies from Crazy Crafter's started giving me advice on how to fix the problems. Then fantastic Kylie Bertucchi, who leads the Crazy Crafters noticed what was going on and fixed the problem straight away. I didn't ask Kylie, but she saw the messages going on the group facebook and just fixed it ! How sweet she is !  I now know what went wrong so I will be more careful in the future but it was really nice to know that I am a part of wonderful and caring crafty team.

Another thing I learned over the past few days is that I somehow changed the setting on comments for my posts. Some comments disappeared when I tried to reply to. I found a possible cause for the funny behaviour and changed the setting to prevent future problems. But still, a lot of existing comments disappeared.  For every one who left comments on my last post,  though your comments looked like they had been deleted,  they are all there somewhere in the cyber space. They are just not showing up under my new setting.  I really appreciate all the comments you made. Thank you.

I learned new things about the Blogger and I felt great being cared for by Crazy Crafters team. These little issues have been blessing in disguise for me!

Anyway, this is the other card I was thinking to submit to the team project highlight last week.

I used Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies, which coordinates with A Nice Cuppa stamp set.

A Nice Cuppa

These are the diecuts. The one on the left lower corner is a mug cup, by the way. I din't know what it was when I cut it so I thought it was a bag ! I wondered why there was a bag in the set !?

Of course my favourite lace trim. This is Mint Macaroon.

I tied up the balloon with the lid of the pot so it looks like the balloon is lifting the lid and the heart shaped steam is coming out. I really enjoyed making this card !!

The sentiment on this card is from Party Pants. It's newly released SAB set. This set coordinates with Balloon Bouquet Punch. Aren't these adorable?!

Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight 26th Feb

Team Project Highlight for this week!

I have been really enjoying participating this team highlight. I am so happy that a lot of you like my cards. I appreciate every visit on my blog.

For my submission this week, I used new SAB item, which has been available since 17th Feb, Pedal Pusher. Look at these cute stamps. You can create your own scene. This set is perfect for the colouring challenged, like me. Each image is little so just dabbing some colours here and there makes your card really stand out.

So I coloured with my trusty Blender Pen. I stamped all images with Archival Stampin' Pad Basic Black on Thick Whisper White card stock. I have to be honest about Archival pad, it does bleed when you go over it a couple of times on the same spot with Blender Pen but it was tolerable for me. I probably needed to leave it for a while. If you want to colour straight away, I think black StazOn is better.

Can you tell this bow around the lace trim is my favourite embellishment now?

And another lace trim. I showed this card to my husband. Despite the lace trim and bow, my husband thought this is a guy card. I wonder if it's because of the colour scheme?!

I created slightly different scene from the outside of the card.
Can you spot two differences ?

Answers; Positions of two birds and no flag.  No colour isn't counted because it's too obvious. So this is my submission for this week.
