Little bit something more with Washi Tape

My Christmas card making is now going at full speed. I'm still really behind schedule and I should't spend too much time to make one card but can't help it. I embellishing my cards.

For today's card I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder on Garden Green cardstock. First I just put these circles on some DSP and added Gold Sequin here and there. 

But I needed something more. I thought matted more DSP but it would look too busy. Then I added Warmth & Cheer Washi Tape, which is coordinating with DSP on the card. 

 I really like the look of it. It shows the pattern of the DSP underneath and perfectly coordinating so it doesn't look too much, yet it gives me satisfaction that I embellished little bit more.

I put Washi inside of card, too.

Global Design Project #052 CASE the Designer

This week's Global Design Project is to CASE the Designer and the designer is amazingly talented Teneale Williams. I've heard her name in Australian craft magazines even before I discovered Stampin'Up!. So I couldn't pass this great opportunity to CASE her design. 

I used Foxy Friends and Thoughtful Banners, my favorite combo. I flipped the stamped panel from horizontal to vertical.

Christmas in July-Swirly Scribbles Dies & Glimmer Paper

I love making Christmas cards. I usually don't make a lot of same designs. I get bored with the repetition quite easily. So I start making Christmas card around this time of the year slowly. By this way I can enjoy the process more. 

Love using Glimmer Paper for Christmas cards.  And heat embossing, too.

Silver heat embossed tree is from Foxy Friends and die cut with Perfect Pines Framelits Dies. The star also cut with the little star die in the set.

It doesn't show in photo very well but the white card stock is Shimmery White.  I put Wink of Stella on the little star. Really shiny. Love it!!
