Simple and Elegant Sympathy Cards

I love making cards for all occasions except one - sympathy card.

Over the Easter weekend I suddenly needed two sympathy cards.  It's not something I prepare for in advance so I didn't have any on hand so I had to create something simple and elegant very quickly.

These are what I came up. For both cards I heat embossed the stamped image with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and colored in the images with an Aqua Painter and ink pads. I used Shimmery White card stock as a base.

Card No.1 with Lovely As A Tree stamp set.
For the second card I used Garden in Blooms stamp set.

This photo doesn't show how beautiful this card is actually.
I entered these cards for this week's Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight.  Check out all other amazing projects by clicking HERE. The link goes live at today at 19:00 AEST.

  1. Oh, Satomi, I'm so sorry you needed these cards but you've really created cards for the occasion that are beautiful and will, I'm sure, be cherished.
