Stamping on Vellum Card Stock with Watercolor Wings

I needed a quick and easy but elegant card. Watercolor Wings Stamp set is perfect for the card emergency.
I stamped 3 layers of butterfly with 3 different colors and the last layer is copper heat embossed.

Put bit of Copper Metallic Thread behind the butterfly.
Made a matching envelope, too.

Copper Embossed- Sending Wishes Your Way-Watercolor Wings and Swirly Scribbles

I just love using one of Swirly Scribbles die as a border and filling the gap with cutoffs of other paper. And love Copper Embossing powder !!!  It looks great with Flirty Flamingo. Pinkness of Flirty Flamingo makes copper more pinkish. The sentiment is from Butterfly Basics.

New to me stamp set, Watercolor Wings.
This is a Two-step set. Two-step sets have a base image and overlay images that you can combines over the base image. You can use the colors and images you want to create the butterflies you want.

It coordinates with Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies.

This butterfly has 4 layers. The base layer used second generation image of Flirty Flaming, the second was stamped with Sweet Sugarplum and the third layer with Dapper Denim. I copper-embossed the last layer. I put Wink of Stella on the dots.  This is really pretty and I wish you could see it in person. It's much more glittery than the photo.

And I put more Wink of Stella in the slot. WHY NOT ?! I love shinny things.

My entry to this week's Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight. And my little foxy card I entered to last week's Team Project Highlight won the second place!!! Thank you everyone who voted for me. I'm really happy  because the card was also for the Global Design Project challenge and Brian King left a comment on it!!!  A cute little foxy is irresistible .

Moments Like This-Project Life with Swirly Bird, Swirly Scribbles Dies and Thoughtful Banners-Catalog Sneak Peek

My PC has been behaving properly since we downgraded it from Windows 10 to Windows 8.1.

A night before the second crash happened, I printed photos I took the other day at a birthday party. At first I was going to just print out. Then I started putting photos into the pocket sheets. It was fun.

After dinner, I thought I might chose some cards to go into the pocket pages. It was really fun. Then I thought I might just put the cards in while I watch TV.

Yeah! After watching my favorite TV show, I finished in total 10 pages.

Next morning, my PC crashed for the second time. Eventually my hero husband successfully rebooted the PC and retrieved all my photos and files but there was a moment I though I had lost all these photos forever. But I wasn't devastated because I preserved these beautiful memories already.
I must have had some intuition because I usually don't print photos straight away. Well, I had never done that until that night.

I have cut photos in the middle or vertically to make them fit into the pocket. They look all right. I'm not afraid to cut photos anymore.

Couple days later I embellished pages.

Used some new products from the new catalog.

These stamps are from Endless Birthday Wishes. It's carried over in the new catalog.

Another carried over set, Party with Cake.

The sentiment is from Watercolor Wings set, which is also carried over.

Just print out your photos. The rest doesn't take too long. Once you put photos into the pocket sheet, it's already half done.

My PC is working all right now but I think I'll print out my photos as soon as possible from now on.

Only few 2 more sleeps until Stampin'Up! 2016-207 starts. If you don't have a demonstrator and would like to have a copy of new catalog, I'm happy to send it to you. Please contact me at satomiwellard@gmail.com
