Mojo Monday#452-Party Pop-Up Thinlits with Copper and Peekaboo Peach

This is the sketch for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

I found the square on the right top corner was challenging. I couldn't come up with what to put there for a while.  Eventually I decided to use a square just like the sketch.
I heat embossed "HAVE A" with new Stampin' Emboss Powder, Copper and used Copper Metallic Thread, too.  The speckles on the square is a stamp from Painter's Palette set. Stamped with VersaMark.

The "HAVE A" stamp is from my current favorite sentiment set, Thoughtful Banners. This sentiment set has everything you need for every occasion you can think of. The size of each stamp is perfect for cards as well as Project Life pages.
For the vertical line in the sketch, I used one of Washi Tape from Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape. I attached Washi on the Very Vanilla cardstock to it's not see through.

Sponged die cut so it shows better.  This Thinlits is originally to make a Pop-Up card but I just cut it out and used as a diecut word. I like the way it looks on the card front.

I used my old SU circle die.

I pretty much followed exactly the sketch this week.

International Blog Highlight-Shaker Thank You

This week we have a special project highlight. It's International! That means not only Kylie's Crazy Crafters but also Stampin'Up! demonstrators in other countries are participating. The theme for this highlight is "Thank you."

Well, this thank you card is made for a music store, Sieffs Music Westfield shopping centre Hornsby NSW. They have donated an ukulele, worth $35 as a raffle prize for the upcoming charity event that I'm participating. A group of residents of my unit are organizing Biggest Morning Tea on 28th May at Cafe Horizon on 208 Pacific Highway Hornsby NSW. If anyone interested in fun family event on Saturday, please check this out.  Biggest Morning Tea Cafe Horizon.  There will be lots of yummy home-made cakes, coffee, tea, face painting for kids, raffles and some paper crafting. I'm selling my handmade cards and offering mini card making sessions on the day. All profit goes to charity. If you can't make it but would like to donate, click Here to go to the official Cancer Council page.

I wanted to use some of the goodies from 2016-2017 catalogue.

Scenic Sayings

Layering Squares Framelits Dies

Foam Adhesive Strips

What did I make with these goodies ????  Of course a Shaker Card!!

The square to make the window is the second largest from Layering Squares Framelits Dies. I first cut a square and die cut a window in the centre.

Stamped the sentiment in Archival Black and Emerald Envy and cut "so, so much" of Emerald Envy and attached it on the black sentiment. I coloured in "THANK YOU" with a blender pen with Sweet Sugarplum ink.

Playful Palette DSP and Cardstock is Sweet Sugarplum

Oh Happy Day! - not at first

Here's another card with Scenic Sayings stamp set. This time I featured "oh happy day" stamp in the set.
I had an idea how this card was going to look but when I tried it actually, it didn't look as good as I thought. I first stamped the sentiment on one of Painter's Palette DSP and heat embossed it.

But the sentiment didn't show very well on DSP so I sponged Emerald Envy Ink. It looks all right at this angle but in person, it still really didn't show the sentiment well.

Oh so Not happy day!!!

I had to give up my original idea at this stage. This has to be "Oh happy card to make!". So I stamped and heat embossed the same sentiment on card stock this time. Well it's much better.

Because I wasn't going to waste the DSP I originally stamped on and the sponged part showed after I covered it with the circle panel, I sponged the little star and DSP banner to keep the look.

Whenever I need something at the corner, I put a little flag and a few sequins. So I did. The flag made with Painter's Pallet Washi Tape.  Yes, it's getting more like a "Oh happy day"!

Off cut left over DSP is never be wasted.

Finally this card made my " Oh happy day".

Card stocks used for this card are from new In Color, In Color 2016-2018.
Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy.

Scenic Sayings and Painter's Pallet DSP are from the new catalogue.

Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight with Painter's Palette

You're going to love this new catalogue. Even from the cover of the catalogue, I think you can tell. Do you see the jar die ???  It has a coordinating stamp set !!

I received my PPP, Product Purchase Première order yesterday. These are some of my PPP order.

I really wanted to show you what I got but too many photos and I couldn't describe how fund and exciting they are. So I decided to do it on video. This is my first You Tube in English. I've been making You Tubes for a while for my customers in Japan but never done in English before.

This is the card I made with Painter's Palette stamp set. I got this set because it has a coordinating DSP, Playful Palette. I just love the colours and brush strokes patterns in the stack. I usually don't like green but Emerald Envy in In Color 2016-2018 is exception.

Look at the easel stamp ! So cute. I used a lot of Stampin' Dementionals.

Wink of Stella on a canvas. You know Wink of Stella will be cheaper in a new catalogue. Yeah!

And this is my submission to this week's Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight.
