Thanks A Latte- Quick and Easy Masculine Card The Crazy Crafters Project Highlights

I went back to Japan in early May and stayed there for 3 weeks and that made it difficult for me to get back to my regular life.

So it's been more than a month since last time I participated in the Crazy Crafters Project Highlight !

This is my entry to the team highlight.  I used Coffee Break Suite products. The suite is so much fun to make masculine cards with no time. For me QUICK and EASY equals to FUN!!

Here's my project.

Used New Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder. It's actually opposite side but I like the raised side on the card surface better. Especially for this project because I wanted to ink the raised part.

Easy Masculine Birthday Card with Happy Celebrations

A lot of card makers find it difficult to make cards for guys and I'm one of them.
Well not anymore.  I've found the perfect set to make masculine cards.

Happy Celebrations Stamp Set
Celebration Duo Embossing Folder

How I made the Happy panel:
1) Emboss Very Vanilla card with Celebration Duo Embossing Folder.
2) Stamp over the embossed Very Vanilla. It reveals the embossed image.

Tip:
This is how I make a skinny strip to frame the stamped panel. Instead of measuring, I align the edge of the card stock with the edge of the Stampin' Cuttin Mat and cut it. It gives you about 1/8" width

Hope you get inspired to make more masculine cards with Happy Celebrations Stamp set and Celebrations Duo Embossing Folder. Thank you for stopping by.

World's Greatest Dad with Guy Greetings and Christmas Paper Warmth & Cheer

When it comes to masculine card, my go to stamp set is Guy Greetings. I used to struggle with masculine cards for embellishment but these days I find it's quite easy with Guy Greetings set.  I made this focal point with 4 stamps from Guy Greetings and Layering Oval dies. That's all I need for embellish the card and together with bit of DSP, I'm good to go.

DSP I used for this card is from Christmas paper stack, Warmth & Cheer. This stack has some typical Christmas patters as well as not-necessarily-for-Christmas or NNFC pattern like stitched look and  plaids. So I chose one of NNFC. The colors are Delightful Dijion, Crumb Cake and probably Basic Black but to me it looks like Nihgt of Navy instead of Basic Black.
 Inside of the card.

I've entered this card to this week's Team Project Highlight. To see all other amazing projects by Crazy Crafters, please click HERE. The link goes live at 6:30 pm AEST.  Make sure you vote for your favorite projects. I'll be super happy if you vote for me.

I I made another card with Guy Greetings and the left over DSP.
I wanted to use some metallic looking embellishment but I don't have any. Well improvise from whatever you have! I swiped Versa Mark on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and heat embossed with copper embossing powder then used holes die from Bakers's Box Dies to make 2 little circles.
Then make circles look 3D with stylus and Stampin' Pierce Mat. Don't they look like nail heads?

This is the second card.
