Mojo Monday Sketch #446-Mother's Day Card

When I saw this week's Mojo Monday sketch, I thought I know a perfect stamp to make scallops!! It's a sliced lemon stamp from A Nice Cuppa stamp set.

I needed to make a Mother's Day card so this stamps set was perfect! Instead of clustered stars in the sketch, I put tea bag die cuts, steam heart die cuts and a die cut tea spoon. I like to change sketch a bit and use my imagination to replace some parts in the sketch.

Mojo Monday Card Sketch Challenge #441

I think I'm a quick crafter. It usually takes only an hour or so to make a card for me. But using a card sketch makes it even faster to complete a card.

When I saw this week's Mojo Monday sketch, straight away I knew what stamp set I was going to use.The circle on the sketch reminds me of a tea cup from A Nice Cuppa stamp set. I don't know why.

Then I looked my scrap pieces of Have a Cuppa DSP, I found I already had pieces cut almost to the size for the sketch!

So I just stamped 2 cups and die cut them and other pieces, adhered them on the card front. And that's it ! It took only half an hour or less to finish this. I love sketch !

Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight 18th March

My submission for this week's Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight is en easel card.
I used my one of my current favourite stamp sets, A Nice Cuppa.

I heat embossed the stacked cups with Iredecent Ice Stampin' Emboss Powder. I first stamped with Melon Mambo then stamped the same image with Versamark.

To make it lemon tea, I cut the slit and inserted the lemon.

Oh so cute ! Love the tea bag stamp and die. They are really tiny.

The panel on the card front was too big to fit in C6 envelope so I made the envelope with matching DSP. I was going to use one of Have A Cuppa DSP originally but had to change to It's My Party DSP in order to make a coordinated envelope. I love how SU colours coordinated even in the different DSP pack !!

Done! Made me really happy !!
