Stampin' Up! Project Life -Hello Lovely Card Collection & Accessory Pack

It's been a little over a week since I uploaded a post last time. One of my stamping friends from Japan came to stay with me for a week. We talked about stamping, stamping and stamping while  enjoying our outing in Sydney, great food and wine. She went back to Japan last Saturday. It was really hard to say good-bye after such a fantastic week we spent together.

Well, back to reality now.

When I saw Hello Lovely Card Collection and Accessory Pack for the first time, I instantly fell in love with this kit.  I wanted to try some techniques I learnt from other talented demonstrators.

This is one of them; making a shaker element with Washi Tape.

The cute little calendar, month and numbers are from new Project Life stamp set, Date It set.

Usually in a number stamp set, you get individual number from 1 to 0 so when you need '12 ', you stamp '1' and '2'. It's hard to align two stamps perfectly together. However, this set gives you  whole calendar number stamps, which means  '12 ' is one stamp. You just stamp once and get a perfectly aligned number!!!!! Am I the only one to get really excited with it? You'll know how fantastic it is if you ever tried to stamp numbers, using 2 stamps.

Hello Lovely Accessory Pack

I'm now very comfortable to chop photos. Most of the time people don't notice the photos were cut until I pointed it out and they think that makes the page more interesting.

In fact ladies who come to my project life class now want to chop up their photos for the sake of chopping up. They often ask me what photos of them can be chopped up.

I used Washi and some stickers from Hello Lovely Accessory Pack. The accessory pack has a coordinating stamp set.  I stamped little flowers and branches on a card stock to coordinate with a card collection in the kit

I like making one 12"x12" layout to accompany project life pages. It's like a title of the book for me.

Using the same kit for 12"x 12" layout makes it easy to create a coordinating page. And it's really quick as well because you don't need to embellish a lot.

This is how the last two pages look together.
